The island of Menorca, located off the east coast of Spain, features a Mediterranean climate attracting visitors throughout the year. Menorca’s famous sandy beaches and important historic attractions have attracted visitors and tourists for years, particularly during the summer months, when the weather and climate is both sunny and hot. Summer highs of 30°C / 86°F or more are not unusual on Menorca, followed by warm and balmy evenings, with those lucky enough to be right on the coast enjoying fresh sea breezes. Even during the winter months visitors can enjoy temperatures which regularly exceed 14°C / 57°F, and reaching 18°C / 64°F at times.
